The mint has a mintage cap for each of the five weights in 2024, with the 30 Gram coin featuring the highest cap at 1 million coins, while the 15 and 8 Gram coins have a cap of 200,000 coins. The 3 Gram and 1 Gram coins are capped at 500,000 coins.
Obverse visuals on the 2024 Chinese Gold Panda feature the image of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This design has been on the obverse of the coins since 1982 and showcases the exterior of the building. The Hall is the largest building in the Temple of Heaven Complex.
