Each 2024 3 Gram Chinese Gold Panda Coin is available here in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are sealed individually in plastic pouches. The Chinese Mint has a mintage cap on all weights in the series for 2024, with only 500,000 coins available in the 3 Gram weight.

Mothers and cubs have a close bond in the Giant Panda family unit. Giant panda cubs are typically weaned at around 6 to 8 months of age. This process involves a gradual shift from milk to a bamboo-based diet. Mother pandas introduce their cubs to bamboo and help them learn to eat it. Cubs may continue to nurse occasionally even after they begin consuming bamboo.

The obverse of the 2024 Chinese Gold Panda Coin comes with a depiction of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This image has appeared on the obverse of the coins since the 1982 debut of the series. The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is part of the Temple of Heaven Complex in Beijing.

On the reverse side of 2024 3 Gram Gold Pandas is an image of two Giant Pandas. This year’s design shows an adult female panda seated next to its young cub. The background field features foliage from its native habitat.
