Established in 1982 with gold bullion coins, the Chinese Panda Series is among the foremost bullion coin collections around the globe. Reverse design elements on the 2025 Chinese Gold Panda Coins highlight the new artwork for this year. The image portrays an adult panda seated in the foreground, using its paws to play with bamboo. A small cub can be seen engaging playfully with the adult, while another cub climbs on the rocks behind them.

While pandas are generally solitary, they do exhibit some social behaviors during mating season. Male pandas will compete for access to females, engaging in loud vocalizations, scent marking, and occasionally even physical fights. Successful males will mate with multiple females during this brief period. Females will spend 1-2 years with their cubs raising and protecting them.

These 2025 1 Gram Chinese Gold Panda Coins are available in plastic pouches and arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The 1 Gram Gold Panda was previously issued as the 1/20 oz Gold Panda and was the last weight introduced, debuting in 1983.
